Oh boy, I’m back and there is just so many new spoilers and even a brand spanking new trailer!!! The trailer was awesome, and I am so looking forward to seeing what is going to happen with Clary and the gang in the new season.
Also, it seems like Jace in particular, is going to go through a lot of conflict in season 2, which is something his character really needs. But also, there is going to be some conflict (not just with her romance with Jace) but with Clary and Jocelyn as well. The thing I really loved about Clary’ character arc last season that towards the end she started to really grow as a character, and I think the writers need to keep up that momentum. Clary really needs to grow organically as a character, and the best way for her to do that is to give her some real conflict. Maryse is just is awful as ever, I love the actress, but Maryse is just a horrible person. Magnus and Isabelle are looking fierce, and my boys Luke and Simon are back as well. l also spotted Maia in the trailer as well, just being sassy and fabulous.
As for the news that Paul Wesley will be directing an episode this season, I really don’t know how to feel about that. I loved him on ‘Smallville’, I didn’t quite care for him on the ‘Vampire Diaries’. Overall, I just don’t really know how to feel about it, but I will keep an open mind and hope that he does really well.
And the last thing I have to say is that I’m so excited that we finally got a definitive premiere date, which is January 2nd. So we don’t have to wait later in the month to see the season premiere. *Does Happy Dance!* January 2nd can’t come soon enough in my opinion.
