And were back! The first thing I read is making me want to cut someone. Clary is a describing a man who she witnessed brutally murder a sentient being last night in a very romanticized tone. Where is my ‘It Has Begun meme?’
Oh, there it is! This ladies and gentlemen is the beginning of the end of any rational thought Clary is going to have. Clary should be terrified, she should be having bad dreams, and uber paranoid. And Yes, I know people deal with dramatizing situations differently, but look at those words up there. Does that sound at all like she’s traumatized?
Also, why is Clary already fixating on Jace this hard, especially after how he treated her in the last chapter. I know some teenage girls (and women) are attracted to the bad boy, but there is a limit you know? As I pointed out in detail in the last chapter, Jace was a consenting dick. Clary needs to reexamine her life choices, and get her life right.
