Okay, I didn’t talk about this until now, but this scene is dragging like nobody’s business! Am I the only one who remembers that we are currently three chapters away from the freaking end of this book? This scene is just dry and boring, and I just want my suffering to end, okay? Seriously, all the action has fucking stopped and now we just get some long and dry exposition. Not to mention that Cassandra Clare is just using this scene to shove in more of her obvious foreshadowing at the very last-minute.
Beyond the tediousness of this freaking scene, I have to say that Hodge got a lot of fucking nerve to be whining about his so-called ‘imprisonment’. Do I even need to remind you that you were directly complicit IN THE KILLING OF DOZENS OF INNOCENT PEOPLE! I hate to break it to you dearie, but in the mundane world, you would have been put in a 6 by 8 ft cell for the rest of your life. Instead, you got fucking HOUSE ARREST! So cry me a river Hodge!
Although I do agree with Hodge about one thing: The Lightwoods deserved the same punishment as Hodge. Actually, I feel that both Hodge and The Lightwoods should currently both be in prison. Of course, I would feel sorry Isabelle, Alec, and Max. However, I bet you that Hodge and The Lightwoods are personally responsible for making a hell of a lot of orphans. And I pretty much guarantee you that neither Hodge or The Lightwoods would even feel a lick of remorse for what they have done. Seriously, Hodge did not once exhibit once ounce of remorse for the victims or their families throughout his entire diatribe. But no, it’s all about his pain, and about his imprisonment Fuck you, Hodge and your condescending hypocritical self-righteous bullshit.
