So Clary’s mom calls her and tells Clary TO NOT COME HOME AND GO TO SIMON”S AND STAY THERE! Then Clary hears a confrontation between something and her mother and the phone goes dead. Clary eventually ends up dropping the phone and breaks it. Do you think she exhibits any type of common sense and does what her mother says? Nope! She runs straight into fucking danger like the stupid ass she apparently is! What a heroine we have here folks! Clearly, Clary Fray should diffidently be a role model for all young girls.
Now, some other sporkers have said that she should of taken Jace on his offer to help. However, I don’t blame her for actually slapping him and scratching his face, and then running. Hell, I’ve been yelling at her throughout this chapter for her to do that. However, what is not smartis to run away from one danger just throw herself into another one. Clary should have done the right thing and walked back inside and called the police, and then went home with Simon.
Once again, Clary is just a regular normal teenage girl. She has no fighting abilities, no weapons, no cellphone, and no idea what or how many people are attacking her mother. Yet, again just like the fucking nightclub scene in Chapter 1, SHE IS RUNNING STRAIGHT INTO THE FUCKING DANGER! Clary Fray is like every horror movie heroine cliché ever made and I groan to think that I have to deal with her POV for five more books at the very least.
