Continuity? What Continuity? Seriously, is Cassandra Clare even keeping track of her own timeline at all? This book is so boring that it may have felt like a month has passed since chapter two–when we first encountered Bane back in Clary’s apartment building. However, I would like to break it to you, Cassandra Clare, it’s only been about a week since Clary and Magnus’s encounter. How is it that I’m not even a published author, but I can still keep up with her timeline better than Clare can? It’s a crying shame that this drivel got a publishing contract when Clare literally showed no effort in refining and editing her book for even basic continuity.
