Clary looked at him with horror. “How can you joke?” she whispered. “You just
threatened Luke. Luke, who likes you and trusts you. Because he’s a Downworlder.
What’s wrong with you?”
Isabelle looked horrified. “Luke’s here? Oh, Clary—”
“He’s not here,” Clary said. “He left—this morning—and I don’t know where he went. But
I can certainly see now why he had to go.” She could hardly bear to look at Jace.

Chapter 6: Bad Blood
Oh, so now Clary gives a shit about Luke? When Amatis straight up told Clary that would there be negative consequences for Luke being in Idris without authorization. No, all Clary cared about was getting to her precious Jace! She literally threw Amatis and Luke under the bus because she can’t deal with not being without Jace for even a day. Again, Clary is just as co-dependent as Bella Swan. Now, when Isabelle once again telling Clary that Luke is in trouble, you can tell that this is all about Jace.
Clary does not give a shit about anyone, not her comatose mother, not her pseudo-father, not her best friend. It’s all about Jace, and that’s because he is the hottest guy she has ever known. I’m pretty sure if Alec was straight, she would be all over him. Yet, any other girl that dares to be interested in a guy is a slut in Clary’s eyes. Honestly, Clary is not only a fucking hypocrite, she is completely incapable of having an ounce of empathy.
