City of Glass by Cassandra Clare
Chapter 7: Where Angels Fear to Tread
Wow, talk about a fucking asspull? This is the third book, the last book in the original ttrilogoy. I don’t know if Cassandra Clare realized at this moment that she was going to extend the series, but it very much feels that she didn’t. If I find out proof otherwise, I will retract my statement. So again, this is the third book, pressumly the last book, and out of the blue Warlocks got their own language?
What the actual fuck?
Seriously, it’s suck a fuck you to her readers. Honestly, I would have been high tempted to throw this book at her at book signing. Now, I don’t condone violence, but oh boy, I would have been sorely tempted.
Clare could have literally introduced this at any time with Magnus. We could of have easily had a scene with Magnus talking to his suborniates in this lanugage. This is what you get for not having a series bible and not really planing out your world before you write it.
