So, if you remember all the way back at the end of Chapter 5, I told you guys that Clary and the others should have never left the Institute. That they should have just called the adults or the Inquisitor instead. This right here is one of the major reasons why they should have done exactly what I said. Since it now looks like the junior Lightwoods are in league with Valentine.
This is not a simple case of teenage disobedience, the Silent Brothers have been brutally murdered. Clary, Jace, and the junior Lightwoods have been found at the scene of the crime. Then, add on that the senior Lightwoods were once some of Valentine’s most vehement supporters, and it makes this look all the more damning. I have been saying this over and over, since Chapter 3, that everyone in the New York Institute has been walking on thin ice, and they are only one infraction away from being shot down for the last time.
Now, the Inquisitor can simply just call them guilty, and punish everyone just because Clary, Alec, and Isabelle just rushed into this whole situation without thinking. About any consequences that would be caused by their hasty actions, or what can be taken from this situation. *slow clap* Great jobs guys! I have got to give you guys credit, when you guys fuck up, you do it spectacularly .
