Folk, this freaking chapter was like three or four pages and that was it. There was a lot of fuckery, but no lot of stuff to squee about. So once again, I’m doing only 1 thing I loved about this chapter.
1.Clary and Jace’s First Date.
Despite the horrible way the date ended, and the way Clary once again conveniently forgot her mother again, I have to admit that the closet romantic in me squealed a tiny a bit. I mean who doesn’t want to go on a moonlight picnic date with the object of their affections on their birthday? Seriously, if it had been any other couple, I would have been more excited about it. However, since it was Jace and Clary, all I could give is a reluctant nod of approval.
