We are at the end of yet another chapter, and now it’s time to move away from all the things (and trust there were many) things that were wrong with this chapter and to move on to talking about some more positive stuff. However, I usually do three things I loved about a current chapter, but since this chapter was so short I’m just going to talk about the one thing I really loved about this chapter
1 .Magnus Bane: The High Warlock Of Brooklyn.
I know, you probably shocked about this since I basically ranted about Magnus and his lack of empathy and morals yesterday, but by god, I still love Magnus Bane. I blame Harry Shum. Jr and Godfrey Gao for being so shiny and fabulous, okay? It hurts me greatly to have to tear down my favorite characters from the movie and the tv show, but due to Clare’s shitty writing, I really had no other choice. The pieces of his dialogue that I really loved how especially in this chapter how he effortlessly bad ass he was when he was confronting the angry vampire. He didn’t have to make a big showy move, he just had twitch his fingers to put that vampire in place, and I ate that shit up.
Despite his lackluster fashion choices and asshole-ish behavior, he was the one bright spot in a sea of fuckery.
Well, that’s it for this week folks! I will be back on Monday to start the very long Chapter 13: The Memory of Whiteness.
